- Is there any difference in taking the tablets or the powder? I do not swallow pills easily. Are the benefits the same?
- Yes. The benefits are the same for both, so choose whichever form works best for you. If taking the powder, we suggest mixing it in fruit juice (apple cider is a popular choice) because it will taste quite 'green' if just mixed with water. The healthier you get, the better Alka Green will taste.

- Which should I use, the Alka green tablets or the Alka green powder?
- Whether you take the tablets or the powder is really dependent on your personal preference. Some customers prefer the convenience of taking tablets (especially when travelling). Other customers prefer mixing Alka Green powder with juice or in a smoothie, especially as a morning or late afternoon energy boost. Customers also mix the powder with our weight loss product called Alka Slim and with our liquid mineral supplement called Trace Minerals (we call this combo our Power Pack). In the end, both the tablets and the powder works great, so choose whichever you think will better fit your needs.

- Can someone with a hemorrhoid problem, take Alka Green Barley Grass Tablets? Will they cause constipation? Should I start with an extremely low dosage? Please advise. Thank you.
- Thank you for your questions; we'll be glad to help. If this is your first time taking a barley supplement, then we recommend starting out with a small dosage, perhaps 1 or 2 tablets a day. The reason we recommend starting so low is because barley is one of the most nutrient-dense foods available. As such, some folks find that Alka Green is too "rich" in nutrients given their current situation. After taking 1 to 2 tablets a day for a week or two, we recommend slowly increasing your dosage to about 7 tablets a day, 1 to 3 times per day.
Most people have actually found that Alka Green helps to regulate the bowels. Some customers experience digestion problems like bloating, but those problems are often a result of taking too many tablets at one time.
We would also suggest looking into our digestive enzyme supplements to help your body better break up and digest the nutrients in Alka Green as well as the other foods you eat. We have two digestive enzyme supplements called Super Digest and Alka Pan (or you can save and buy them both together in our Digestive Enzymes pack). Many people have benefited significantly with these enzymes.
Increasing your overall health and energy levels is a process, but you are on the right track with Alka Green and by perhaps adding digestive enzymes to your routine. When you find that your health has improved, we'd love if you contacted us and shared your story so that you can help others live a healthier life.

- How many tablets a day should I take? And should I take all at once or twice a day? Thank you very much!
- Alka Green is very high in nutrients and may be too “strong” for those taking Alka Green for the first time. Therefore, if this is your first time taking a barley supplement, we suggest starting with 1 or 2 tablets a day. The reason we recommend starting so low is because barley is one of the most nutrient-dense foods available. As such, some folks find that Alka Green is too "rich" in nutrients given their current situation. After taking 1 to 2 tablets a day for a week or two, we recommend slowly increasing your dosage to about 7 tablets a day, 1 to 3 times per day..
Whether you take all the tablets at once or whether you split them up and take them throughout the day is a matter of personal preference, so feel free to do whichever you prefer.
