- My two year old daughter has had bouts with ear infections and on numerous occasions has taken antibiotics. With this said, my question is can she take Alkadophilus?
- Antibiotics can destroy the good bacteria in your digestive tract, so Alkadophilus would be beneficial for your daughter by increasing and replacing the necessary digestive bacteria. Sometimes, younger children have difficulty swallowing capsules so it might be best if you take the powder out of the capsule and mix it with some water or juice. Let us know if we can help in any other way. We wish you and your daughter the best of health.

- Can I take Alkadophilus while still taking antibiotics?
- Yes, you can take Alkadophilus while still on antibiotics. The Alkadophilus will help to replace the "good" bacteria that is destroyed by the antibiotics. We recommend that you do not take both the Alkadophilus at the same time as the antibiotics, however. So if possible, try to take to Alkadophilus a few hours after taking the antibiotics.
