- Could you please tell me if I should take Alka Pan before, during or after meals? I take Super Digest before my meals. So should I take them both before or Super Digest before and Alka Pan after?
Thank You for your time - The best option would be to take Alka Pan about 20 minutes after your meal. Alka Pan works in the lower digestive system, so it's best to give the food a little time to get there before taking Alka Pan.

How I got off PrilosecReview by Alice - Submitted on 12/20/10My name is Alice, and I would like to share with you how I got off Prilosec. I have had this hernia for a good two years. There were times when Prilosec did not help the heartburn. A friend of mine went to the hospital a couple of years ago and was diagnosed with C-Diff. I had never heard of C-Diff, so I started researching and found out I needed to quit using Prilosec because doctors felt this is one of the causes of it. It is highly contagious.
Getting off of Prilosec WAS NOT EASY!!!! I have tried many alternatives such as Braggs vinegar and a lot of rolaids, which are not good for you. A friend of mine told me about Alka Pan. For the first time in a long time I'm finally finding relief. I need at least 5 hrs after eating before going to bed. Also, I eat my salads and vegetables at the end of the meal because they take less acid to digest. It has taken me a good two years before finding relief. Using proton inhibitors will not relieve your acid; you will only need stronger ones with a lot of side effects. I am so glad to finally find a product that really works. THANKS TO ALKA PAN. I use a couple at each meal as a digestive aid, and 10-12 three times a day (off-meals) to reduce inflamation and soreness. Thanks ever so much for improving my digestion.Review by Caroline - Submitted on 11/28/11I started using Super Digest and Alka-Pan three years ago at the suggestion of my Chiropractor, Dr. K. Clark in Heartland, ME when I was diagnosed with a peptic ulcer. Between these two great products and eating mostly alkaline foods for about 6 months, I was able to heal the ulcer. I do not eat without them and have noticed a marked difference in my digestion when I have eaten and not taken Super Digest before and Alka-Pan after the meal. As we age, our digestive system does not produce the same amount of enzymes. At 40 year old, we produce one half the amount as when we were 20. At 60 years old, we produce half of what we produced at 40. This is a gentle formula with very little betaine (HCI) in it, and it works great!!
