Alka Pan - Digestive Enzymes Reviews Hi, I have had this hernia for a good two years. There were times when prilosec did not help the heartburn. A friend of mine went into the hospital a couple of years ago and she while there she was diagnosed with C-Diff. I have never heard of C-Diff, so I started a research on this and found out I needed to quit using prilosec because doctors feel this is one of the causes of it. It is highly contagious. Getting off of prilosec WAS NOT EASY1111 I have tried many alternatives such as, Braggs vinegar,lots of rolaids, which, are not good for you.
